About Us
Wine Country Designs is a home based business owned and operated by Barbara and Larry Kiefer in Livermore, California. We have lived in Livermore since 1973. Livermore is situated about 40 miles south east of San Francisco and is a designated wine region with an ever growing number of wineries and vineyards.
Over the years, after attending the Livermore Wine Country Festival and the region's Harvest Festival, Barbara, a quilter at heart - realized that while attending such events she needed a means by which to carry her wine glass while keeping her hands free to shop and sample our region's wonderful wine/food pairings. Hence, the birth of The Wine Glass Caddie.
